Tom Parish, (American, 1933-2018).

Born in Hibbing, Minnesota in 1933, he was an American Painter who worked from Venice as his primary resource and inspiration since 1986.  His home studio was in Detroit, Michigan. This is the place he worked diligently and on a daily basis  For 35 years he was a professor of painting in the School of Art at Wayne State University in Detroit.  He became a Professor Emeritus and is warmly remembered for inspiring generations of painting students at Wayne State University.
